Yesterday we celebrated 2 incredible ladies that have meant so much to Prairie Dell. Ms. Bocklage and Mrs. Click will be missed, but we are excited for them and their retirement.

*23/24 calendar update*
Our Board of Education approved a slight adjustment to our current 23/24 school year calendar. Our last day of school, Thursday 5/23, is now going to be a half day (previously it was scheduled to be a full day).
This means on Thursday 5/23 our elementary schools will dismiss at 11:45 am and our secondary schools will dismiss at 12:20 pm.

As you may be aware, there is a strong likelihood of inclement weather today. We have been monitoring and discussing the forecast with a focus on student and staff safety. At this time, the forecast includes the potential for severe thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and even possibly tornadoes.
Due to the potential danger related to the impending weather forecast, we are canceling ALL after-school activities for today, Wednesday, 5/8/24. This includes ALL sports, practices, events, clubs and activities after school.

Tomorrow is School Nurse Appreciation Day. PDE can not thank nurse Liz enough for all that she does for our school. She takes care of students and staff that don't feel well and helps with so many other activities at school.
