Happy Earth Day! 5th grade littered all day to understand and feel how it changes our environment, then we brainstormed ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle! ♻️

*Proposition KIDS gains approval*
Today is a great day for our district and for our community! Our ballot measure, Proposition KIDS, passed with just shy of 64% of voters voting in favor versus 36% in opposition. Our community has been asking us to prioritize an Early Childhood Center and additional storm shelters. The overwhelming support of our bond issue is the perfect way of showing the community trusts the work we are doing and the positive impact our district is having on the community at large.
This is a time to celebrate and a time to acknowledge our community for the continued partnership and vote of confidence. I can’t tell you how thankful and proud I am of our district. We have some of the absolute best working on our team and our parent/guardian partnership couldn’t be stronger; the future is bright for #unionrxi.
There is a lot of work to be done now and there will be many conversations in the coming weeks/months as we take next steps in delivering on Proposition KIDS.
Again, thank you to all those who voted and all those who helped to spread the word about this important ballot initiative.
~ Proud and honored to be your Superintendent

The Buddy Bench is in!! The student council planned, put on fundraisers and met their goal! We can't wait to see kids using this bench!

*Tuesday, April 8*
Be sure to vote as we have Proposition KIDS, a $35 million NO tax increase bond issue on the ballot.
You can learn more here about how this bond issue would affect our school district:
