Mrs. Palmer’s kindergarten class had so much fun decorating graham cracker houses this week! Aren’t they the cutest?!
We love an all school assembly! Especially when we are recognizing KINDNESS! At todays assembly we watched our 2nd graders rock their musical performance with Mrs. North and recognized several students for going above and beyond the last few days.

This week our fourth grade went on a preposition walk. They wrote sentences about the walk and identified the preposition in each. Learning in action!

Kindergartener Emerson Sterling rode to school in style yesterday! He won the “ride in a fire truck to school” prize at our fall festival. So much fun!
3rd grade had so much fun on their field trip this week! They went to Busch Stadium to participate in science and math activities involving baseball. The kids have been RAVING about it. Plus they got to see Big Bird’s “nest”. What’s not to love?!
All the drama was happening after school last night! CE’s drama club was excited to learn from the high school drama club. We love the collaboration!

This morning was fun! Our students were greeted by law enforcement officers who opened the doors for them.
The Scholastic Book Fair is just one week away! Students will be able to shop during their regular library class or after school with an adult. We will also have a special shopping tile during our Donuts with Santa event on Saturday December 10th. Check out the letter from our principal for more details!
Hope you all are enjoying your break and have found time to relax with a good book! These kids are part of an after school book club which meets weekly, just one of our extracurricular activities being offered this year!
