Good evening, #unionrxi families:
On Monday, April 8, students will have the opportunity to participate in a solar eclipse learning experience. Because student safety is absolutely paramount, we are asking each parent/guardian to grant permission for their child to participate in outside activities related to this rare experience.
Each student will be provided appropriate protective eyewear on Monday 4/8, which if utilized and worn properly, will ensure their safety. Please emphasize to your child the importance of wearing their glasses for the duration of any outside viewing to ensure their safety.
If you elect to not grant permission for your child to participate in the outside experience of the solar eclipse, they will be provided the opportunity to learn about this experience while in the confines of their respective building. Students who do not have this form completed will NOT be able to participate in any outside activities related to the solar eclipse.
Please complete this form no later than Friday, April 5.
