**New substitute teacher and paraprofessional pay rates!**

1). We increased our substitute teacher rate of pay from $115 per day to $135 per day. Retired teachers (from any district) who substitute teach will be paid $150 per day up from $135 per day.

On October 29, 435 middle school students auditioned for the East Central All-District Band. 13 Union students were selected as members of the ensemble. On Saturday, November 9, the following students rehearsed and performed a concert at Fox High School.

Tuesday after school, our Heart and Sole group did a fantastic job completing their practice 5K around the track and school! These ladies are training for a 5K in Forest Park on November 16th with the Saint Louis region Girls on the Run program. Way to go, ladies!
